BAM PROGRAMS

The Atlantic Hockey Group has always taken the lead in offering a variety of programs to meet the needs of players of all ages and levels of skills.  Programs have been designed to address the needs of the recreational player as well as those of the advanced player.

The following programs will take place at the Superior Propane Place in Moncton, N.B.,  the J.K. Irving Center in Bouctouche, N.B. and The BMO Centre in Halifax N.S.

Upon registration students will receive a detailed schedule including dates and times.

Please note that we are not a learn to skate program

MONCTON Spring Program – April and May, 2017
SUPERIOR PROPANE PLACE 

Initiation, Novice, Atom, Peewee & Bantam players

Overall Skating Ability   Ages 6 – 16

On-ice: 15 hours

The program is designed to improve overall skating speed and controls in the various elements of skating including balance, mobility and agility.
Power skating: Balance, agility, stride, starting and stopping, edges, power turns and crossovers.

Plus: Spring Program will also include specific training for an IP group (players born in 2009-2008)

BOUCTOUCHE Spring Program – April and May, 2017
JK IRVING ARENA (BOUCTOUCHE N.B.) 

Overall Skating Ability   Ages 6 – 16

On-ice: 15 hours

The program is designed to improve overall skating speed and controls in the various elements of skating including balance, mobility and agility.
Power skating: Balance, agility, stride, starting and stopping, edges, power turns and crossovers.

HALIFAX Spring Program     April and May, 2017
BMO CENTRE 5 HOUR PROGRAM

Programs are open to ALL PLAYERS, ALL LEVELS and ALL AGES.
NOTE: Students will be divided into one of 3 groups based on age as well as skill level.

The program is designed to improve overall skating speed and controls in the various elements of skating including balance, mobility and agility.

Power skating: Balance, agility, stride, starting and stopping, edges, power turns and crossovers.

NOTE: Scheduling will be geared to avoid as much as possible conflicts with AHG Spring Hockey Programs.

 

MONCTON Summer / Fall Program – August and September, 2017

SUPERIOR PROPANE PLACE

Overall Skating Ability   Ages 6 – 16
On-ice: 18 hours
The program is designed to improve overall skating speed and controls in the various elements of skating including balance, mobility and agility as well as a conditioning component to help prepare the students for the upcoming hockey season.
Power skating: Balance, agility, stride, starting and stopping, edges, power turns and crossovers.
