Congratulations to former NS Raiders player, James Sheppard, on being selected 9th overall in the NHL Entry Draft. James was one of seven former AHG players drafted this year	Former NS Raiders and Atlantic Selects player Sidney Crosby continues to be a great inspiration to many young maritime hockey players.
Patrice Cormier - 54th overall selection into the NHL Draft last year by the New Jersey Devils	Former New Brunswick Stars player Luc Bourdon selected 10th overall by the Vancouver Canucks. Luc also played a major role in helping team Canada capture a gold medal in 2005.
