Achievements

The Selects are the most successful program, of its type, in Atlantic Canada. The accomplishments includes eighteen Major Championships as well as an 75% success rate in making the playoffs. The seven teams representing the Atlantic Selects in 1999 were proclaimed as the most successful program at the Canada Wonderland Tournament in Toronto. The 2000 Atlantic Selects program featured a championship at the Atom Major level.

In 2001, the Atlantic Selects Program featured a championship at the Peewee Minor level while the 2003 Atom Minor Selects team captured the gold in Boston.

In 2004, the Atlantic Selects captured the AAA Championship at the Peewee Minor level and won the gold medal at the Atom Minor AA level.

The 2006 Program featured a championship for our Atom minors NS Selects team at the North American Hockey Championship in Boston.

In 2008, the Atlantic Selects Program captured a Gold Medal at the Bantam level at the North American Hockey Championship and the NS Selects Atom Major team took the Championship at the Canada's Wonderland Tournament in Toronto, Ontario.

In 2010, the Atlantic Selects Program captured the Gold Medal at the Novice Major, Atom Minor & Atom Major level at the Kings AAA Shootout.  The NB Selects Novice Minor & NS Selects Atom Major team took the Championship at the King of the Rings Tournament in Toronto, Ontario.

Team Champions


Congratulations to the Atlantic Selects Atom Major Team, coached by John Sheppard of the Nova Scotia Raiders and Mike Eagles of the New Brunswick Stars. The team captured the Gold Medal at the prestigious 2000 Canada Wonderland Tournament in Toronto.
