The basic objective of the Elite Hockey Program is to provide the opportunity for advances hockey players, male and female, to progress to the next level of play. This is accomplished by bringing together a group of advanced players under the direction of highly qualified coaches.
The Atlantic Hockey Group program offers a unique environment which is difficult to obtain elsewhere. It's four full-time staff members, Regional Directors and the network of over 200 coaches associated with the Atlantic Hockey Group provide a very strong structure to assure that the top players in Atlantic Canada will form our teams. The individual teams will be directed by two highly qualified and experienced coaches, a goaltending instructor and a team manager.
The 2011 Program will feature teams from the Novice Major to Bantam levels. The Program is stable, comprehensive and innovative, thereby ensuring that there will always be a yearly path of progression for players to play for more senior teams.
