The ‘AAA’ Series consists of 15 hours of practice time and a minimum of 16 games which begin at the end of the minor hockey season in early April and end in May.
NOTE: Teams will have the option of securing additional practice time.
The objective of the on-ice training will be to develop team systems. The practices will also feature specialized training for the forwards, defencemen and goaltenders.
Novice and Atom Divisions will consist of a 12 games league schedule (including 2 playoff games). Games will take place on weekends with each of our teams hosting a minimum of 2 games. The scheduling will be geared towards reducing travel time as well as accommodation costs while offering our players a high level of competition without having to travel across Eastern Canada. At the conclusion of League play teams will participate in the ATLANTIC CUP TOURNAMENT to take place in Moncton and Halifax. The tournament will feature ”AAA” teams from NB, PEI, Quebec and NFLD.
Peewee and Bantam Divisions will feature tournament play. Our teams will participate in 3 spring tournaments with each team playing a minimum of 5 games per tournament. Regional teams from the four Atlantic Provinces, Quebec as well as the sate of Maine, will take part in our 2014 program.
Teams will have the opportunity to come together one last time before the minor hockey season. The Jamboree will take place in Moncton, N.B. during the months of August and September. The goal of the Jamboree is to help prepare our players for their upcoming minor hockey tryouts.
NOTE: This will be an optional tournament and therefore is not included in the registration fee.
