OCT 22nd, 2020 – Moncton, NBAtlantic Hockey Group Announces New Coordinator

The Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) is pleased to announce that Ryan Beazley has joined our group as our new coordinator for our Southwest Nova Scotia zone. For the past 25 years the Atlantic Hockey Group, along with the ongoing partnership with the Lumberjacks organization, has been providing Southwest hockey players of all ages and skill level the opportunity to join their very popular spring hockey programs which features four (4) distinct levels of play, Elite, AAA as well as Prospect Series tier 1 & 2.  The extensive spring hockey programs are geared to achieving the proper balance of on-ice training as well as providing male and female players of all skill levels, from the Elite to recreational player, the opportunity to develop and compete at the appropriate level. The ultimate goal is for our players to have fun while learning more about this great game.  On-ice training as well as games will take place at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre in Bridgewater, Queen Place Emera Centre Liverpool as well as the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth.

Founded in 1989, The AHG program has become one of the most successful in Canada. Through programs such as the Charlie Bourgeois Hockey School, the Atlantic Goaltending Academy and the spring Hockey Series the Atlantic Hockey Group works with over 5000 hockey players each year. The network of over 500 coaches associated with the Atlantic Hockey Group also benefit from the mentorship program as well as the extensive coaching resources made available to them.

Former NHLer and Director of the Atlantic Hockey Group, Charlie Bourgeois, looks forward to continuing to grow it’s spring hockey Series “Having an experienced hockey person like Ryan involved in our programs will be a tremendous asset to our group.  He is a quality person who brings a great deal of knowledge and passion for the game of hockey. It is well known in the hockey community that Ryan brings a great deal of commitment and passion to the development of young hockey players and coaches.  I look forward to working with him for many years to come as we provide first class hockey programs to every part of Atlantic Canada.”

As for Beazley “I am so excited about the future of spring Hockey Programs in our area. Together with the Atlantic Hockey Group, we will be in a position to offer our players and families the strongest Maritime Spring Hockey Series available.   “Having coached teams for many years with the Atlantic Hockey Group I know very well the network and resources, we will be able to offer even more opportunities for players, male and female, of all age groups and skill level!” added Beazley.
