Fabian Joseph joins AHG Coaching Staff

 

Moncton, New Brunswick – November 27th – Director of the Atlantic Hockey Group, Charlie Bourgeois, announced today the addition of Fabian Joseph to the AHG coaching staff. Fabian will be leading sessions for several different on-ice programs including the various CCM Academy programs held this winter.

Fabian brings to AHG a strong playing and coaching background. As a player he played for the Toronto Marlboros of the OHL as well as the Victoria Cougars of the WHL and was selected in the NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1984. His career highlights include playing for the Canadian National Team, the Nova Scotia/Cape Breton Oilers of the AHL, the Milwaukee Admirals of the IHL, as well as playing professional in Italy and Switzerland. During his time with the Canadian National Team he won two Winter Olympic Silver medals as the team captain. As a coach, Fabian has experience working with the Milwaukee Admirals of the IHL/AHL, the Halifax Mooseheads, Dalhousie Tigers, Moncton Wildcats, and most recently as head coach of the Woodstock Slammers of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League. Fabian was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame in 2002.
