Program Philosophy

Trailblazer Staff are dedicated to providing a professionally structured training environment to help your child develop. Our team of instructors are very experienced and have been selected on the basis of their hockey qualifications and of their ability to communicate with and instruct young hockey players. To ensure intensive and effective training, enrollment is limited.

Danielle Alexander


Born and raised in Moncton, where she played all her minor hockey, Danielle enjoyed a great hockey career that took her to US prep school, where she played three seasons for the Kents Hill School Huskies. In her senior year she captained the team and led the team in points. After graduating Danielle played with the Mount Allison Mounties in the AUS. Danielle has been involved in coaching for over a decade and has a passion for developing female hockey players.

On-Ice: 15 hours / Off-Ice: 16 hours

Join Trailblazer Hockey from July 11th to 15th at the Superior Propane Center for a full week of on-ice and off-ice development. On-Ice sessions will be run by head of Trailblazer Hockey Danielle Alexander along with other qualified instructors. The camp will be open to Female Players in U9, U11, and U13. Sessions will focus on stickhandling and goal scoring as well as game situations and defence/forward specific drills. There will also be an off-ice session led by a quality instructor.

On-Ice: 10 one-hour sessions

The objective of the Super Skills Program is to provide the opportunity for players to improve their skills and move to the next level.  Sessions will take place two times per week in late July to late August at the Superior Propane Centre. A maximum of 24 players & 3 goalies per group. The program will include specialized training for F, D and Goaltenders placing emphasis on all individual skills. A heavy focus will be placed on puck control, deking, and scoring ability. We will also work on power, speed, balance and agility. Sessions will be led by Director of Trailblazer program Danielle Alexander.  To provide quality training the camp will feature a ratio 6 students to I experienced and qualified instructors.
